The GTSC community day camp is a coed program that is open to all players from the ages of 6 thru 17 years old. The camp is also open to all levels of players from beginners to advanced. Players are grouped by age and ability to facilitate a more challenging environment. The camp runs on both a half day program, 9 a.m. till Noon, and a full day program, 9 a.m. till 4 p.m. The program also offers The Golden Touch "First Touch" Program catering in particular,  to children from the ages of 6 years old thru 7 years old. This program is designed to facilitate the special needs of younger players and have a positive, fun filled experience and to promote their desire and passion for the game of soccer. The First Touch program is a half day program running from 9 a.m. till noon.

Two New Programs for 2008!

Baby Bears: Ages 4-5, 9am to 10am, Monday to Friday, $40

The ‘Baby Bears’ program is designed to introduce our campers to soccer and the fun that can be had by all using a soccer ball in many different ways. At this age, our aim is to familiarize a child with how a soccer ball can be a fun thing to play with, using any and all parts of the body (even the hands) to have a fun experience! This program consists of games, challenges, songs, and even soccer stories, all packed into one hour each morning! The perfect program to get your child’s soccer career rolling!!!

College Prep Camp: Ages 15-18, 6pm to 8pm, Monday to Thursday, $80

Our ‘college prep’ camp is designed to provide our local, high school aged students the chance to experience college level coaching and training. This program may help them decide if playing at the next level is something they would like to shoot for and if they could be good enough. Advanced development of technical and tactical training will enable the student to find out more about their own soccer attributes and form a realistic view of what it takes to be a college player!

"First touch

lasting impressions"

"Simply a great experience for all involved. Golden Touch brought a great staff to instruct our camp. They had the ability to teach the novice as well as the game hardened players. The campers arrived early each day so they didn't miss a trick"

Dan Adams, Sports Director

Kernersville Family YMCA

"This camp was the greatest! I was impressed by the staff and their skill with all ages of children. It was fun, educational and developed excellent soccer skills. Jennifer enjoyed soccer before she loves it now."

Kim Floyd, Hope Mills, NC.
